Lyric Search

Lyric search online and actually finding the song lyrics you are looking for is easier than ever before! There are thousands of lyric search websites on the internet that help you do just that. Of course some lyric websites are better than others but you should have a pretty easy time finding the song lyrics you are searching for. Not to mention the benefit of not having to pay for the lyrics you want, unlike in a music store, where you would have to purchase the sheet music!

You can simply type lyrics in Google or use the links right on this page to help you with your lyric search. You will see the thousands of results for lyric search. There are also many sites that offer Guitar Chord Lyrics. These are simply sites, such as Guitar Tab sites that offer guitar chords and lyric sheets so you can play and sing your favorite songs.

As a guitar player lyrics can be very inspirational as well. I have had to come up with a cool guitar part or solo for a song when after reading and listening to the lyrics really pushed me in a creative direction I may not have taken just by winging it.

For those guitar players that are singer songwriter types, writing lyrics is a major part of your total package. It’s a good idea to do a lyric search and read some song lyrics of other artists just to get a sense of different song lyric styles. Then the best thing you could do is simply to start writing your own lyrics now! Keep writing. The more song lyrics you write the better you will become. Focus less on rhyming all the time and more on phrasing your lyrics. Start writing lyrics to your own music compositions. Some people write music first then lyrics, some do the opposite. Personally I prefer to write music first then lyrics. Find what is comfortable for you.

Good luck on your lyric search or song lyric writing venture!
